In the coming weeks, Whatsapp will introduce new features for Android and iOS users, including voice message review, an inactivity account cancellation period, and a multi-device login. This update is currently available to WhatsApp beta users on Android and iOS platforms.
Users can update this feature for WhatsApp via the Play Store and App Store shortly after the beta test is completed.
Review Voice message
As per a recent claim, WhatsApp is working on a new feature for Android and iOS that would allow users to hear their audio messages before sending them to contacts. This is one of several features that are currently being tested and may be published in the near future. WhatsApp could add a ‘Review’ option to the chat window, allowing users to listen to their voice messages before sending them.
Every time you press the pause button on WhatsApp, you’ll be able to listen to the audio message before sending it. When this feature is turned on, you’ll notice a stop button that, when tapped, does not completely delete the voice message, allowing people to listen to it. This feature is currently being developed and will be available soon.
Inactive Account deletion
After a long period of inactivity, WhatsApp accounts might be canceled by the instant messaging company. There are two types of time limits on inactivity on the site that might result in an account being permanently deleted. All data on WhatsApp’s servers would be permanently deleted if you made a permanent erasure. If the user has a locally stored backup, they can recover the history even if they re-register the same phone number.
Long inactivity:
After 120 days of inactivity, WhatsApp accounts are usually canceled. If the account is not connected to the Internet, it is said to be inactive.Inactivity means that the person is not logged in to WhatsApp.For the account to be active, it must be connected to the Internet. If WhatsApp is opened on the user’s device but the user is not connected to the Internet, the account is considered invalid.
However, WhatsApp has confirmed that before deleting the account, any content stored locally on the user’s smartphone will remain until the device is disconnected from WhatsApp. Locally stored content will resurface when a user reregisters for WhatsApp on the same device.
Short inactivity
In circumstances where the same account number appears to have been assigned to a new user, WhatsApp can cancel the account after 45 days of inactivity. If the account has been idle for 45 days and then reactivated on another mobile device, WhatsApp will interpret it as a sign that the number has been recycled.
The old account data associated with the phone number, such as the profile photo and About section, will be deleted. Each WhatsApp account is assigned a phone number. Since mobile phone companies often reassign phone numbers, the previous owner of the number may have used a WhatsApp account. Deleting will help reuse these accounts.
Multi-device login:
The debut of WhatsApp on multiple devices has been expected for some time, and it appears that the capability will be available on iOS and Android soon.
