The first sneak peeks from the set of the upcoming tentpole “Thor: Love and Thunder” have been revealed on the internet. The production of the film is currently happening in Australia, and the likes of Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, and Karen Gillan, etc., have already arrived in the country for the productions.
It was earlier last week when Chris Hemsworth talked to his fans on social media and showed off his muscles via a picture on his Instagram handle. He also offered some vital pieces of information pertaining to the production date and said that by the time the previous week ends, the production of the film would have already started.
Well, as we know that the week has ended and as promised by Chris Hemsworth, the production of the film has already started, and the evidence of it in the form of a set photo has already been shared on the internet.
The upcoming Thor sequel is one of the most highly anticipated films of the MCU Phase 4 as it will feature a talented ensemble cast and has been pitched as the one that will give the audience an “Avengers” like feeling.
New set photos have emerged on the internet courtesy of the website called “Daily Mail,” which has been able to get its hands on some handful of set photos. Apparently, some crew members of “Thor: Love and Thunder” were spotted in Centennial Park in the city of Sydney in Australia.
Though the Daily Mail has not spotted any star of the upcoming film, the photo does reveal some brown rock-like structures that will most likely resemble an extra-terrestrial world, which is likely to feature in the upcoming film. Some fans on Reddit have started speculating about the planet and have theorized that the extra-terrestrial world is likely to be the home abode of “Gorr the God Butcher.” It has been revealed that the upcoming film “Thor: Love and Thunder” will feature The Machinist, American Psycho, and The Dark Knight Rises star Christian Bale as the character “Gorr the God Butcher.”
The set photos of “Thor: Love and Thunder” are available for view on the internet, and you can view them right now.
The film will be a directorial venture of Academy Award-nominated director Taika Waititi, who has also directed the third film of the franchise.
Not much has been revealed about the film, and it is just known that the upcoming tentpole will be partially based on the comic book run of “Mighty Thor,” which was penned by Jason Aaron. The comic book run explored Jane Foster’s becoming of the lady Thor. Taika Waititi will direct the film, and the script of the film has been written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson in the company of Waititi himself. The film will star Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, and Christian Bale in the leading roles.
The film currently has a release date of May the 6th, 2022.
